Samed Island is situated in Ban Phe district, Rayong province. It is within the perimeter of Lam-Ya Samed Island National Park. As one of the most famous tourist attraction in Rayong and short travelling distance from Bangkok, Samed Island always get to welcome both Thai and international tourists all year round.  There are many stunning beaches, mostly clustered on the north and the east of the island.

Samed Island is about 6.5 km away from Ban Phe shore mainland or 30 minutes by shuttle boat and 10 minutes by speed boat.  From Na Dan Pier, tourists can take a public shuttle to their destinations such as Ao Noi Nha, Sai Kaew Beach, Pai Beach, Tub Tim Beach, Chor Beach, Wong Duen Beach, Wai Beach, Kew Beach, Coral Beach, and Ao Prao.  Rates are varied by destination.

There are always things to do on the island. Tourists can choose to chill out by the beach, swim, massage, or snorkel. Some make a day tour to dive at small islands near Samed Island such as Kudee Island, Kaam Island and Talu Island. Moreover, there’re exciting water sports such as jet ski, banana boat, and kayak available on more populated beaches.

Tourists can travel to Samed Island all year round. But the best time of the year falls between November to April.

Ao Noina, Samed Island

Samed Cliff Resort is located on Ao Noi Nha, on the north of Samed Island. Ao Noi Nha is famous for its peaceful surroundings which give more private feeling than Sai Kaew Beach. Most fishermen reside in this area, therefore, guests can absorb real local lifestyle. Even though Ao Noi Nha is not reputed for spicy night life with fewer bars when compared to other beaches, but it offers the same service standard and full facilities. Its uniqueness lies in the picture of real local lifestyle which is hardly seen anymore around Samed Island. People come to Ao Noi Nha to get away from busy life. They find a peaceful, quiet place to enjoy slow time. Bring your favorite, unfinished book and let yourself flow into the world of imagination. It is also an ideal place for quality time with family and your best friends. You will surely get an unmatched experience from us.

Ao Noi Nha is about 3 km. away from Sai Kaew Beach. The nicely paved road will take you to Sai Kaw Beach and Wong Duen Beach with no hassle. Even better, guests can explore the island by renting a motorcycle and ride around.
